Summer Walleye Whether fishing for walleyes on open water or frozen water, you will find that walleyes have a mind of their own, and often times don't care to eat. That can especially be the case in the summer. The whole afternoon was sloooooooowwwww! The sun went behind the trees, and the fish turned on! We put in some extra time on this day, and this is how we were rewarded! |

Spring walleye
The conditions are sometimes difficult, and other times it can be rather pleasant, though the fishing can be excellent! On this day we had rain, sleet, wind, then calm and sun. We caught a good number of fish, including this great walleye! The action can be great this time of the year! |

River walleye This particular walleye was caught while musky fishing a river channel. It took a Rizzo Whiz that was intended for something larger. However, a bonus "eater" walleye is always welcomed! |

Very nice walleye! Not the biggest you will ever see in your life, but definitely a very large walleye for Northern Wisconsin! Often times these larger walleyes are found while we are chasing muskies at night. | |
